EXPERIENCED PODIATRIST IN PUTNEY, SOUTH WEST LONDON

Foot Health in Wimbledon

What is podiatry?

Podiatry is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the human foot. The name podiatry was introduced in 1993 as it is considered a more internationally recognised term for a foot specialist. It has largely replaced the title of a chiropodist, although often used alongside it to avoid confusion.

It was also introduced to bring attention to the public the fact that podiatrists treat a wider range of conditions than those traditionally associated with those of a chiropodist. Fiona Hodge Podiatrist offers a wide range of podiatry treatments in Putney. Visit us today for a better foot health!
